Merry Christmas From The SmokeHausers!
This week we clicked over 20,000 products made and in 2022 we’ve grown 90%; no wonder we’re tired!
Thankyou to everyone who has helped us, supported us, enjoyed our products and engaged in our 1.5 year start-up journey, so far so good…
We’ve launched 9 new products across 3 categories, are available in 30 retailers, and ship our website orders all the while.
This year we’ve done 112 markets and in-store tastings (we probably met you at one!) As you’ll know we’re well into our food, and love to talk about it!
Our team has grown and changed this year, too.
Mrs Smoke Haus came on board full time, and Ellen from Perk Digital became our Marketing Manager, doesn’t she just rock?!!
We thank Vonnie for her time here, and now we welcome Raza--such a blessing, we just love how he handles himself--very Smoke-Hausy.
There are so many highlights from 2022:
We collaborated with Brown Brothers Wines, won an Innovation Business Excellence award alongside being finalists in 2 other categories, rolled out a packaging upgrade, hit up the first Toowoomba Meatstock, did Farmfest and the Toowoomba Royal show, and supported our local community with many product and $$ donations.
And we have held our prices despite wearing cost increases on every single thing we buy. We know everyone needs value now more than ever.
A special thanks to Lou and Lizzie Gordon and their kickass crew at Queensland Choice Meats, couldn’t do this without you guys.
Onwards and upwards in 2023!
We have some more cool stuff lined up for 2023, but for now we’re taking a week off to rest and spend time with Family, and celebrate the true meaning of Christmas.
