Comfort Food? Chicken Noodle Soup!

The go-to recipe when its cold or someone isn't well, this one is full of wholesome ingredients, super-delicious and so easy to do with a pack of our Pulled Chicken!

Need it faster? Use freezer veggies :))

Too much? Use our smaller Pulled Chicken Duo and halve the quantities.

Ingredients: 

  • 1x Pulled Chicken Family Pack
  • 2tbsp Olive Oil
  • 1 medium onion, finely chopped
  • 2 medium carrots, ~5mm dice
  • 2 medium potatoes, ~5mm dice
  • 2 sticks celery, sliced ~5mm
  • 2L chicken stock
  • ~150g Fettucine pasta (~1/3 pack), broken into 1/4 lengths
  • 420g tinned corn, drained 
  • 2tbsp flat-leaf parsley - finely chopped
  • Half a loaf of crusty Bread: sliced thick, toasted and buttered

Method: 

1. Dice the onion, carrots, potatoes and celery while preheating a large saucepan on medium heat

2. On high heat, add the oil and onions, stir for 1 minute

3. Add carrots, potatoes and celery, stir for 3 minutes

4. Add the stock and bring to boil, ~10 minutes, while finely chopping the parsley

5. Break the fettucine into 1/4 lengths, add and simmer for 10 minutes

6. While simmering, heat the pulled chicken as per pack instructions, and toast/butter the thick bread slices

7. Add the pulled chicken and 3/4 of the parsley, stir though and season to taste with salt & pepper

8. Sprinkle remaining parsley on each bowl and serve with buttered toast, enjoy!

Wow! This is an even better recipe than my trusty Chicken Soup standby! Thank you for making it so easy to follow – right down to the size of the diced veggies – appreciate that makes it easy to get everything cooked uniformly! I would expect no less from brilliant Food Scientists like yourselves! 🫶🏻
