A crowd pleaser at our house for years, especially in winter, this is Jeff's Mums recipe, its simple, and it just works. We do this every time we fire up the Pizza Oven, people ask if it's on the menu when they're invited, it's just that good!
SERVES 8 - PREP TIME 10min - COOK TIME 90min (smoker or oven)
INGREDIENTS
- 1tsp Darling Fresh Smoke Haus Salt, Garlic & Pepper rub
- 250g jar of marinated artichoke hearts, drained and chopped to <1cm
- Whole Egg mayonnaise ~3/4 cup: equal to the chopped artichokes by volume
- Grated Parmesan cheese ~3/4 cup: equal to the chopped artichokes by volume
- 1/2 loaf of crusty white bread, cut into 3-4cm chunks

PREPARATION
1) Mix together in a bowl
2) Fill into a Ramekin, ready for the smoker/oven
3) Smoke or oven roast for ~1.5hrs at 130degC
4) Place on a plate and arrange cut bread around the ramekin for easy access
5) Serve hot, your guests will spoon onto white bread, and keep coming back for more
